SIDS Prevention Tip #3

No Stuffed Animals-Although they look super cute near your baby while they are sleeping, stuffed animals are dangerous. Eyes, legs and arms can become dislodged and cause a choking hazard if they become lodged in your babies throat.

SIDS Tip #4

Keep Your Baby From Overheating-Dress your baby in light, comfortable clothing for sleeping and keep the temperature of the room comfortable for an adult.

Consider Putting Your Baby Down With A Pacifier- Put your baby down with a pacifier, but don’t force them to take it and if it falls out when they are sleeping, don’t put it back in their mouth.

These are just five ways to help prevent SIDS, there are many more. Although this is just a start, keeping these in mind will help to prevent this horrible tragedy.
